Mahalie McBrayer is 6 years old and is in Kindergarten. This budding poet is wordsmith beyond her years and with the help of her mom, my longtime friend Nicole, she pens these fantastic haikus. Mahalie has made me laugh and chuckle with some of her works and made my heart ‘awww’ with others. No matter what she has come up with I love them all and I’m beginning Mahalie Mondays; everyone should kick of the week with one of her haikus.
